Astronomy club cancels

ZANESVILLE – The Zanesville Astronomy Club has cancelled its regular meeting for March 14 at Ohio University Zanesville. This includes scheduled Boy Scout training.

Bridge repairs on Mollies Rock Road

ZANESVILLE – Mollies Rock Road will be closed for approximately two months starting March 16 for bridge repairs from Madison Hall Road to Blacksnake Road.

Cemetery meeting in Duncan Falls

DUNCAN FALLS – The annual meeting of the Duncan Falls Cemetery will be at 7 p.m. March 17 at the Duncan Falls Fire Department.

Northern Local BOE changes meeting date

THORNVILLE – Northern Local Schools Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 19 at the board office, 8700 Sheridan Road NW. This is the original date announced, but a change from the date announced on Tuesday.

College Night cancelled

ZANESVILLE – Scholarship Central College Access Program of the Muskingum County Community Foundation has cancelled its planned College Night on Thursday on the joint campus of Ohio University Zanesville and Zane State College.

The cancellation is related to health concerns and state issued warning regarding COVID-19 coronavirus.
