The Santa Barbara Museum of Art (SBMA) and Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History (SBMNH) want community members to experience the art and science of the cosmos.

Visitors who buy an admission ticket to the Santa Barbara Museum of Art to see The Observable Universe: Visualizing the Cosmos in Art can get a free planetarium show ticket (value $4) at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History’s Gladwin Planetarium. Or, show your planetarium ticket at SBMA and get free entry.
The offer is good during November, and Jan. 15-Feb. 16. Proof of purchase necessary to receive promotional pricing.
The Observable Universe at SBMA, 1130 State St., explores a diverse range of artistic representations of the cosmos roughly coinciding with the Space Age of the last 60 years.
Gladwin Planetarium at SBMNH is the only planetarium on the Central Coast that features live multimedia shows. Visitors can tour the constellations of the night sky, fly through the Milky Way galaxy, and explore the surface of the moon.

Santa Barbara Museum of Art is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. Entry is free 5-8 p.m. Thursdays.
