Michigan is one beautiful state. But it looks even better from space.

NASA astronaut Christina Koch, currently among the crew aboard the International Space Station, tweeted a photo of the lower portion of her home state of Michigan on Wednesday night from outer space. And it is incredible.

Koch will remain on the space station until February after spending nearly a year aboard. She will break the record of 288 days for the longest single spaceflight by a woman at the end this month.

We are waving back at you, Astronaut Koch.
